B&V Civils company has been managed by DG Burns since inception in 1984 till 2016 and together the MM Geldenhuys who became a member after being involved in the site and plant management of B&V for 24 years have shared management and duties till the present date.
The company is located in the Garden Route with the Head Office in Knysna. We have carried out a diverse array of Civil Engineering projects, including but not limited to earthworks, reinforced concrete, demolition, hoarding and fencing, piling, pipelines, sewerage and water reticulations, road works, sport fields, storm water, drainage, dams, bridges, paving, housing developments, embankment protection, factory construction and pump station construction.
We strive to use local labour wherever we work. Enclosed is a list of contracts carried out by ourselves over the past few years. We pride ourselves for achieving & maintaining a CE 7 CIDB grading..
We use Messrs. S van Lier as OHS Consultants for the preparation, implementation and audit of all Health and Safety requirements, as well as regular “tool-box” talks.
